19.01.1942: Sunk by a convoy escort in pos 34.03N, 24.16E to avoid an explosion of her cargo of ammunition after been sat on fire by 

                     a german bombing south of Crete. She was on passage between Alexandria and Malta in convoy MW8A with military stores

                     and troops. The crewmembers were lost
