08.09.1907: Launched by Ropner & Sons Ltd., Stockton

26.10.1907: Completed. Price paid: 875.883,25.

17.10.1913: Stranded outide Karatsu, Japan during a typhoon. Refloated 20.10 and towed to Nagasaki for repairs. After 2 months at the

                     yard she was back in service.

18.11.1917: Abandoned by her crew in sinking condition NW of Hawaii. POs 34.161W. They were overwhelmed by a hurricane while on 

                     passage from San Fransisco to Hong Kong with general cargo
